The privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you in order for us to advise you properly (your personal data).

What information do we collect about you?

We obtain both personal and financial details about you, which include personal information from your professional advisors such as your Accountant or Solicitor.

How will we use the information about you?

We will use the information obtained to advise you on your financial planning which would include the suitability for particular products and services.

This would include using such information being disclosed to third parties (e.g. credit reference agencies and product providers) for the purpose of processing your application/s.

We use an electronic identity verification system to meet Anti-Money Laundering Requirements and we may conduct these checks from time to time throughout our relationship, not just at the beginning. These checks may therefore leave a footprint on your check history.

Where you ask us to assist you with for example your insurance / ethical investments, in particular life insurance and insurance that may assist you in the event of an accident or illness, we will ask you for information about your ethnic origin, your health and medical history (Your Special Category Data). We will record and use Your Special Category Data in order to make enquiries of insurance / investment providers in relation to insurance products that may meet your needs, and to provide you with advice/guidance regarding the suitability of any product that may be available to you.

We will use Special Category Data in the same way as Your Personal Data generally, as set out in this Privacy Notice. In order to process your Special Category Data, however, we do require explicit consent.

Access to your information and correction

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date and you may ask us to correct or remove information if you think it is inaccurate.

Right to erasure

Under the regulation of GDPR you do have the right to have any information about you erased unless we have a legal obligation not to erase your data.

Monenti Partners for the purpose of legal defence will have a legal obligation to hold your information under the regulations of the Financial Conduct Authority because we have a mandatory requirement to retain your data for specified periods, and for some situations, we are required to retain this data indefinitely.

You therefore accept that your information will be held indefinitely and you will not have the automatic right to erasure. However, if no advice has been given to you we will not communicate with you unless you contact us for any reason.
